Founded by Kosalraman and Abiraami, Infrabees is a multidisciplinary design firm which creates experiential spaces with strong user focus. Our projects enhance the human experience providing holistic solutions as well as sensibility. As responsible architect’s, we approach every design from the grass root level and achieve successful design solutions for the ultimate user. Key importance is given to a client’s vision, sensitive budget, the site context, climate response and appropriate use of materials. Built form, its spatial relationship, the human scale and proportion as well as the color palette determines our successful mantra.

CJ KOSALRAMAN

As a Founder and Principal Architect of Infrabees, Kosalraman has been a registered architect with about 25 years of experience. He has a B.Arch. degree from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India and an M. Arch. degree from the University of Oklahoma, USA. He has extensively worked on projects in the USA and India. In addition he has also worked on large projects in UK, Middle East, Africa and China. His project type experiences are Master Planning, Residential, Education, Commercial, Hospitality, Healthcare, as well as Corporate Campus including Casino’s and Interior Design.

Prior to founding Infrabees, as a Principal & Senior Vice President at HKS, he had successfully established from ground up and directed a subsidiary in Chennai, India for HKS Inc.; a USA based large international A&E Firm, and also held its first Managing Director of India Operations position.

He resigned from HKS to self-challenge himself and founded Infrabees in Chennai, India. Having seen best of all worlds, he embarked on a journey to establish a firm which was high on empathy, quality, content and delivery.

He has worked with leading international hotel operators worldwide and Asia’s leading healthcare groups in India. Getting involved right from the Feasibility studies, Concept Design, Project Documentation, Project & Construction Management, Construction Administration and Project Delivery has made him a multi-talented individual. With an in-depth understanding of the profession, his creative design approach often exceeds industry standards.

Being a Licensed Architect in USA and India, he was able to deliver high quality work for wide range of project sizes within strict deadlines and challenging budgets. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional of the US Green Building Council, USA. He also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as well as Associate of Indian Institute of Architects (AIIA). In addition, his prior work experience on international projects allured him to complete his LLB degree in law at Karnataka State Law University.

His highly organized and result oriented approach has succeeded in delivering the design service with professionalism and winning clients goodwill. He passionately works with strong integrity and ethics that has earned numerous accolades to his credit in the industry. He is also an active volunteer in a NGO to achieve a Just and Equitable society.

Kosal is a prominent key presenter and an expert panelist at various national as well as regional conferences in India. He is pursuing ways to build projects with precast/prefabricated building components for a superior, faster and economical approach to construction. He also embraces artificial intelligence and augmented reality to execute projects with precision.

ABIRAAMI KOSALRAMAN

As a Co-Founder and Design Director of Infrabees, Abiraami has been a registered architect with about 19 years of experience. She has a B.Arch. degree from University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and an M. Arch. degree from the University of Texas, USA. She has considerably worked on projects in the USA and India. Her project type experiences are Planning + Urban Design, Custom Residential, Education, Commercial, Historic Preservation, Mixed-Use and Interior Design.

During her early career, she had worked with Gideon Toal Architects (later renamed Bennett Benner Partners) at Fort Worth, Texas. It was a boutique design firm, located near Stockyards National Historic District of Fort Worth, specializing in Adaptive Reuse and Sustainable Design. Prior to founding Infrabees, as a Project Architect at HKS India, she had successfully handled and delivered multiple large projects in India for HKS using BIM Technology.

She resigned from HKS India to join her architect husband and founded Infrabees in her home town Chennai. Having seen best of all worlds, she embarked on a journey to establish a design firm which was high on empathy, quality, content and delivery.
